1) Builders & Home Renovation Specialists in Windsor
If you’re planning a substantial renovation, extension or complete transformation of your home in Windsor, IN Construction Ltd provides a comprehensive building and renovation service from initial consultation through to completion.
Based in Ashford, Surrey, we work with homeowners across Windsor and the surrounding areas, specialising in full home renovations, house extensions, structural alterations and high-quality residential refurbishments.
With over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, we understand that larger renovation projects require much more than individual trades. They require careful planning, coordination, clear communication and attention to detail throughout every stage of the build.
Whether you’ve recently purchased a property that requires complete modernisation or you’re looking to reconfigure and extend your existing home, our team can manage the project from the initial strip-out and structural works through to the final decoration and finishes.
Back to top2) Full Home Renovations in Windsor
A full property renovation provides the opportunity to completely rethink how a home looks, performs and works for the people living in it.
Our renovation projects can involve stripping a property back extensively before rebuilding and modernising it around the client's requirements.
Depending on the property and specification, works may include:
- Complete internal strip-out
- Structural alterations and internal reconfiguration
- New partitions and room layouts
- Electrical rewiring
- Plumbing and heating installations
- Plastering
- Carpentry and joinery
- Kitchen installation
- Bathroom and en-suite installation
- Flooring
- Painting and decorating
- Roofing and external works
- Final finishing and preparation for occupation
Rather than homeowners having to coordinate multiple individual trades themselves, IN Construction can manage the works as a complete renovation package.
Back to top3) House Extensions in Windsor
An extension can provide the additional space a property needs without requiring the homeowner to move.
We undertake extension projects ranging from single-storey additions and open-plan kitchen extensions through to larger residential remodelling projects where the extension forms part of a wider renovation of the existing property.
Where structural alterations are required, we can coordinate the construction works alongside the wider refurbishment so that the new and existing parts of the property are treated as one project.
This approach is particularly valuable where homeowners want to create larger open-plan kitchen, dining and family spaces, improve the relationship between the house and garden, or substantially change an existing ground-floor layout.
Back to top4) Renovating Before Moving Into Your New Home
For homeowners purchasing a property that requires substantial work, carrying out the renovation before moving in can remove a significant amount of disruption.
It also provides an opportunity to approach the property as a whole rather than renovating individual rooms over several years.
IN Construction Ltd can undertake comprehensive pre-move renovations covering everything from strip-out and structural alterations through to mechanical and electrical installations, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and decoration.
The objective is straightforward: complete as much of the required work as possible before occupation and hand the property back ready for its owners to move into.
Back to top5) Recent Full Home Renovation Near Windsor- Whitelands Drive, Ascot
A good example of this approach is a substantial renovation we completed at Whitelands Drive in nearby Ascot.
The new owners had purchased a property that was tired, dated and had not undergone significant modernisation for many years.
They wanted the property comprehensively renovated before moving in, allowing the major construction work to take place without the disruption of trying to live in the house at the same time.
The project involved an approximately 16 week programme of works and a construction value of approximately £120,000.
5.0.1) Complete Strip-Out and New Services
We began by stripping the interior extensively back to an empty shell.
This allowed the existing property to be properly assessed and provided a clean starting point for the new layout and installations.
The renovation included completely new:
- Electrical installations
- Plumbing
- Heating
- Gas services
This meant the property wasn't simply receiving new finishes over ageing infrastructure; the underlying services were modernised as part of the wider renovation.
5.0.2) Reconfiguring the Property
Significant alterations were then made to improve the internal layout.
Upstairs, new partitions were constructed to create additional bedrooms, including a bedroom with its own en-suite and walk-in wardrobe, together with a smaller additional bedroom.
On the ground floor, the layout was remodelled to create an open-plan kitchen and dining area.
Double doors were incorporated between this space and the living room, allowing the homeowners to retain separation when required while also having the option of opening the rooms together to create a much larger connected living space.
An additional double bedroom was also incorporated on the ground floor.
5.0.3) Completing the Home Ready for Occupation
Once the structural and first-fix stages were complete, our team carried the project through the full finishing programme.
This included plastering, carpentry and joinery, kitchen installation, painting and decorating, and the installation of herringbone flooring throughout the ground floor.
Carpets were fitted to the stairs, landing and bedrooms before the final finishing works were completed.
The result was a comprehensively remodelled and modernised property that could be handed back to the owners ready for them to move into and enjoy.
Back to top6) Kitchens and Bathrooms as Part of a Wider Renovation
Kitchens and bathrooms are often some of the most important spaces within a renovation, but on larger projects they need to be considered alongside the wider construction programme.
We regularly undertake kitchen, bathroom and en-suite installations as part of full property renovations and extensions.
This allows plumbing, electrical work, structural alterations, plastering, carpentry, flooring and decoration to be coordinated rather than treated as isolated packages.
The result is a more integrated project and greater control over the quality of the finished property.
Back to top7) Managing Your Renovation from Start to Finish
Larger residential projects involve numerous trades, suppliers and stages of construction.
Our role is not simply to carry out individual elements of the work. We coordinate the project so that each stage follows logically into the next.
Depending on the scope, this can include demolition and strip-out, structural works, roofing, electrical and plumbing installations, plastering, carpentry, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, decoration and external works.
We also believe homeowners should understand what is happening within their property.
Clear communication regarding progress, decisions, variations and unforeseen works is therefore an important part of how we manage our projects.
