For larger projects (extensions, full refurbishments, structural work), yes , we charge for full measured estimates due to the time and depth involved. Simple refurb or carpentry jobs, however, are often quoted free of charge.
Yes, after an initial conversation or site visit, we can give an early-stage rough estimate, then refine it once drawings and specifications are available.
We use clear staged payments tied to milestones (e.g., demolition, foundations, first fix, second fix, finishing). This ensures healthy cash flow and transparency.
Yes, all structural work is carried out with engineer-approved designs, and RSJs are installed by competent, experienced teams.
